Virat Kohli was visibly concerned for former India head coach Rahul Dravid, who fractured his leg and is currently recovering from the injury after the clash between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Sawai Mansignh Stadium in Jaipur on Sunday (April 13).
After the match finished and the teams were meeting for the post-match handshakes, Dravid also walked out to the ground using a walker. Kohli was quick to spot the RR head coach making his way out and urged him to rest and told him that RCB players would come towards him.
However, Dravid assured Kohli that he was fine and ventured towards the ground and met the players of the victorious side. He shared a heartfelt embrace with RCB skipper Rajat Patidar

Talking about the match, RR lost their second game in a row as RCB thrashed them by nine wickets with 15 balls to spare. Kohli played a key role in the victory with a solid unbeaten knock of 62 in just 45 balls. However, Phil Salt won the Player of the Match (POTM) award for a 33-ball 65 that helped RCB get a quick start in the run-chase of 174 runs.
RCB now have all four away games this season and are third on the table with eight points. As far as RR are concerned, they sit on seventh place with two wins in six matches.
For those unversed, Dravid was appointed as RR's head coach ahead of the 2025 campaign following the end of his two-and-a-half-year tenure as the Indian team's head coach post the 2024 T20 World Cup victory.
Kohli shared the dressing room with Dravid during the early stages of his career and was in India's playing XI in Dravid's final game in all three formats. Infact, he scored a ton in Dravid's last ODI and Test for India.
Later, Kohli was a key part of the Indian team in all three formats throughout Dravid's tenure as the head coach and the duo visibly shared a close relationship and praised each other multiple times publically.
