Mumbai Indians (MI) finally snapped their below-par run in IPL 2025 and defeated Delhi Capitals (DC) in the national capital while Royal Challengers Bengaluru had a day to remember as they registered a 9-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the first game of the day. The result of both matches had a big impact on the points table.
DC's defeat at the hands of MI saw them lose the top spot and they are now at the second position in the points table. The Axar Patel-led side has 4 wins from 5 matches. MI are placed at the sixth spot. They have 2 wins from 6 matches.
RCB climbed to the third spot with a one-sided win over RR. Interestingly, they have won all their four away games and have lost both home games. They have 8 points in their account at an NRR of +0.672.
Gujarat Titans have 4 wins from six matches and they are placed at the top spot. The IPL 2022 Champions will lose their top position to Lucknow Super Giants if they defeat Chennai Super Kings on Monday (April 14). It will be a home game for Lucknow.
