Mumbai Indians' (MI) preparations for their crucial fixture against the Delhi Capitals (DC) were hampered by a massive dust storm in Delhi on Friday. MI are tottering in the second half of the points table, with four defeats in five games and are in desperate need of a win to revive their campaign.

Meanwhile, MI posted a video of the dust storm that rattled the team's practice session. In the video, Deepak Chahar, head coach Mahela Jayawardene, and Lasith Malinga sprinted back to the dug out, with Rohit Sharma urging them to come back. Rohit was at his hilarious best and left everyone in splits with his reply to the cameraman who focussed on him instead of the sand storm.

“Abey mera kya dekh raha hai, woh video le (Why are you taking my video, record that)”, while pointing to the dust storm as it wrecked havoc in the stadium.

Meanwhile, MI's batting has been a big worry for the side in IPL 2025. The lack of runs from Rohit Sharma, Tilak Varma and even Suryakumar Yadav has left the team in a miserable situation. The team did get a big boost in the last game as ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah returned to the XI after a long layoff due to injury, however, he couldn't change the fate of the team. MI are known for comebacks, but there is always a line beyond which any sort of comeback in a tournament like IPL is difficult. The Blue Brigade is very close to the mark, and a few more defeats would almost certainly put them at a stage where they won't be able to bounce back.

Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, are flying high with four wins in as many games and would be optimistic about continuing their juggernaut at home.
