Virat Kohli looked imperious right from the first delivery he faced during the MI vs RCB IPL 2025 match. That translated into his second half-century of the season in style with a massive six. It was also his eighth 50+ score at Wankhede in 22 T20 matches. Kohli was on the attack from the start.

Targetting the offside, Kohli flew to 25 off 10 and attacked Trent Boult, cracking two back-to-back fours that forced Mumbai captain Hardik Pandya to turn to his trump card, Jasprit Bumrah, in the third over of RCB's innings.

Kohli vs Bumrah was a match-up that everyone was looking forward to. So far in their duel, Kohli had 140 runs in 95 balls (SR 147.36) with five dismissals.

This time, it seemed like Kohli was ready to meet fire with fire as he welcomed his Indian teammate with a six. However, Bumrah was not daunted by the challenge and returned with an excellent change of line and length to keep Kohli in check.
