The action in Group B of the Champions Trophy heats up as Australia take on South Africa in a clash of the cricketing giants at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi, Pakistan on Tuesday (February 25) from 2.30 PM. The two sides come into the game in form having won their first games of the competition. The winner of this high-voltage encounter will thus have an advantage in hand, as they will take one step forward to seal their place in the semi-final.

South Africa come into the match having beaten Afghanistan comprehensively by 107 runs. The Proteas slammed 315/7 batting first riding on a century from Ryan Rickleton. The pacers then were all over the Afghan batters as they were bundled out for 208 runs. One of the main players of the side, Heinrich Klaasen could not play the first game as he was sidelined due to an injury. There are still doubts as to whether he will play vs Australia.

The Australian side came into the competition on the back of several key players being ruled out. However, they proved their doubters wrong with a historic performance in their opening game against England. The English side put on 351 runs on the board in the first innings. However, Josh Inglis slammed a century as the Aussies pulled off the highest run-chase in the history of any ICC tournament.
