The Portland Trail Blazers secured a 114-112 win over the Utah Jazz on Monday night, led by Anfernee Simons' 28 points and six assists. Portland ended a three-game road losing streak in the first matchup of a seven-game trip.

Jerami Grant contributed 20 points, while Deni Avdija posted a double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds. Scoot Henderson added 17 points and six assists, playing a key role in Portland’s fourth-quarter push.
Brice Sensabaugh led Utah with 23 points, while Keyonte George finished with 21. Kyle Filipowski recorded 20 points and 11 rebounds, but the Jazz suffered their sixth loss in eight games.
Henderson sparked Portland's late-game surge, scoring and assisting on consecutive possessions to build a 99-92 lead with 7:19 left. The Jazz made a final push, as George hit back-to-back three-pointers in the closing seconds, cutting the deficit to 113-112.

However, Grant's free throw extended Portland’s lead, and George’s contested three at the buzzer missed, sealing Utah’s defeat.
The Jazz led 48-43 in the second quarter before Simons fueled an 18-3 Portland run, giving the Blazers a 61-51 halftime lead. Utah’s Isaiah Collier ended a six-minute scoring drought with a half-court buzzer-beater.

George hit two three-pointers in an eight-second span late in the game but missed a potential game-winner at the buzzer.
Avdija and Donovan Clingan combined for 26 rebounds, controlling the boards for Portland.
The Trail Blazers continue their road trip at Washington on Wednesday, while the Jazz host the Sacramento Kings.
