Champions Trophy Controversy: ICC Accused of India Bias Over Repeated Matches in Dubai by Australia Captain.

The International Cricket Council's (ICC's) decision to allow India to play all their Champions Trophy matches in Dubai has come under scrutiny, with Australia's regular captain, Pat Cummins, criticising cricket's governing body over the controversial decision.
“I think it's good that the tournament can go on, but obviously it does give them (India) a huge advantage playing on the same ground. They already look very strong and they've got that obvious benefit of playing all their games there,” said Cummins in an interaction with Yahoo Sports Australia. Cummins is currently out of action, due to an injury which saw him miss the ongoing tournament.
Cummins is not the only one to hit out at the ICC, with England bowler and current commentator Jonathan Agnew stating that the decision to allow India to play its Champions Trophy games in Dubai was a "farce".
India are competing in the game’s 50-over format for the coveted eight-nation Champions Trophy tournament that began on Wednesday in Pakistan.
While six national teams have travelled to Pakistan for the tournament, India has refused to go there by leveraging its strong influence on the International Cricket Council, the game’s global governing body.
Indian cricket authorities have not made a formal statement about their decision not to play in Pakistan, but some officials have suggested that the decision was based on security concerns. India will play all its matches—including the one against Pakistan—at a neutral venue in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Even though the Indian team has not travelled to Pakistan since 2008, Pakistan played in India in 2023 during the World Cup.
