The International Cricket Council has launched an "All On The Line" campaign film for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Except for India’s matches, the entire tournament will be held in Pakistan.
A host of stars including Hardik Pandya, Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Nabi and Phil Salt featured in the video. India are tipped to be one of the favourites for the marquee ICC event which is returning after an eight-year absence.
Hardik will be key to India’s plans for the Champions Trophy. Both Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami have been included in the squad but both fast bowlers are uncertain due to fitness issues and Hardik’s bowling ability will be put through paces in Dubai.
India last lifted the Champions Trophy back in 2013 under the guidance of MS Dhoni and will be looking to replicate their success once again. Ahead of the mega event, Hardik sounds very confident about India’s good showing in the tournament.
As quoted by ICC the 31 year old said, “The return of the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy is a significant boost to cricket, adding depth and context to the One-Day format. This iconic tournament promises to reignite excitement among fans and players alike. India is ready to showcase its unique brand of cricket, with every player committed to bringing the trophy home again.”
India will open their Champions Trophy campaign against Bangladesh on February 20 followed by the high voltage clash against Pakistan on February 23.
