India Champions Trophy 2025 Squad: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) officially unveiled the 15-member squad that will represent the country in the upcoming Champions Trophy in Dubai. BCCI Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar made the announcement during a press conference in Mumbai on Saturday.
The squad will also participate in an ODI series against England preceding the Champions Trophy, providing valuable match practice for the team to fine-tune their skills and strategies.
India captain Rohit Sharma also arrived at the BCCI headquarters to attend the Champions Trophy squad selection meeting. However, the announcement was delayed by more than two hours.
India Squad for Champions Trophy 2025: Rohit Sharma (C), Shubman Gill (VC), Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohd Shami, Arshdeep Singh, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rishabh Pant, Ravindra Jadeja.
Harshit Rana has been named as an additional member of the squad, with Jasprit Bumrah still unfit. He is likely to remain unavailable for the first couple of ODIs against England.
Chief Selector Agarkar praised Karun Nair for his performance in the Vijay Hazare Trophy but said that it is difficult to “fit in everyone in the team.”
“Averaging 750+ is simply insane, but it's a squad of 15, so we can't fit everyone,” he said.

ICC Champions Trophy Groups
Group A: India, Pakistan, New Zealand, Bangladesh.
Group B: Australia, England, South Africa, Afghanistan.
It is important to note that the ICC has approved a hybrid model for the tournament. As a result, matches will be split between Pakistan and the UAE. If India qualifies for final it will take place in Dubai otherwise Lahore will host the tournament's title decider on March 9.
