Vaibhav Suryavanshi's Six-Filled Heroics
Suryavanshi also broke Parag and Abhishek Sharma's record for the most runs by a player before turning 18 in IPL's history. Both had hit five sixes while aged 17, while Suryavanshi has crossed that milestone. Suryanshi has remarkably entered the double-digit list. Only five players in IPL history have hit a maximum before turning an adult.

Suryavanshi also has the most sixes by a player in an innings at the age of 18, breaking a record set by Dewald Brevis (5) in 2022 during a match by Mumbai Indians (MI) against Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Pune. With nine sixes, he equalled Rishabh Pant (9) for the most sixes in an innings by a U-21 player.
Suryavanshi is also the first U-17 player in T20 cricket history to score more than 10 career sixes. Previously, the record was with Ayush Awasti, who hit 10 sixes at the age of 15.
Suryavanshi was dismissed after making a 38-ball 101 as RR won the match by eight wickets with 25 balls to spare. The 14-year-old was awarded the Player of the Match (POTM) and is the youngest in IPL History to win the elusive prize.
