Ramiz Raja Calls PSL 'IPL' During Post-Match Presentation; Does Not Correct Mistake - WATCH

Multan Sultans opened their account in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 when they registered their first win of the campaign against third-placed Lahore Qalandars at the Multan Cricket Ground. While the match witnessed some great moments, the post-match presentation ceremony witnessed a hilarious moment when former cricketer and PCB president Ramiz Raja namedropped 'IPL' in the middle of a PSL match.
In the post-match presentation ceremony, Ramiz Raja announced the names of the winners of the various prizes. He was supposed to award the catch of the match award to Irish bowler Joshua Little. He won the prize due to his incredible catch to dismiss Qalandars' star Fakhar Zaman. While describing the catch, Raja said it was the catch of the IPL, instead of saying PSL. "What a catch! Probably the catch of the HBL IPL," he said.
Raja's slip of words immediately went viral all across social media. However, despite this, Raja did not correct himself, and has also not issued any clarification till now.
