With temperatures in Ahmedabad Gujarat forecasted to soar past 40°C during the Gujarat Titans' (GT) afternoon clash with Delhi Capitals (DC) on Saturday, April 19th in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, the host team GT is rolling out special measures to keep fans cool and comfortable at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
GT announced that mist fans will be installed in all sun-facing stands, and fans attending the game will also be provided with sunscreen, sun visors, free drinking water, ORS sachets, and mobile medical support. The initiative aims to combat the intense heat and ensure a safe matchday experience for supporters.

According to weather.com the temperatures in Ahmedabad could peak around 40 degree Celsius at 4 PM, with humidity levels hovering above 35 percent, making heat-related precautions even more crucial.
On the field, the top-of-the-table clash adds to the excitement. DC lead the standings with 10 points from six games, while GT closely follow with eight points. The Narendra Modi Stadium has already witnessed three home games for the GT this season, with the team winning two of them.
GT so far have won games against Mumbai Indians (MI), Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), and Rajasthan Royals (RR). However, they faced defeats at the hands of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Punjab Kings (PBKS).
DC enters the fixture high on confidence with five wins and only one loss. They have registered wins over Chennai Super Kings (CSK), LSG, SRH, RCB, and RR (in a thrilling Super Over finish). Their only loss so far came against MI. DC would be playing their first game at this venue in IPL 2025. Whoever wins this match would be on the top of the points table.
