MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja came together and created history in the Indian Premier League (IPL) after becoming the first pair to achieve a unique stumping milestone during the Lucknow Super Giants vs. Chennai Super Kings match in Lucknow on Monday.

Rolling back the years and showing exceptional understanding and coordination, Dhoni and Jadeja etched their names in the IPL record books. They became the first bowler-wicketkeeper pair to achieve nine stumpings in the tournament's history.

This record also solidified Dhoni's legacy as one of the best wicketkeepers in IPL history. Dhoni also achieved another massive milestone in the game after completing the stumping of Ayush Badoni from Jadeja's bowling in the 14th over of the innings.

That dismissal was Dhoni's 200 in the IPL, with 154 catches and 46 stumpings. Out of these, 196 (150 catches) have come behind the stumps. In the season of 2008 and 2009, he shared the gloves with Parthiv Patel and took four catches.

43-year-old Dhoni has seven dismissals to his name, including three catches and four stumpings.
