Farhan continued his golden run of form from the recently concluded National T20 Cup, where he scored three centuries. The 29-year-old hit his fourth T20 ton of the year with a knock of 106 in just 52 balls as United posted a massive total of 243 on the board against the Babar Azam-led team, which is the joint sixth-highest total in the league's history.
Sahibzada Farhan Creates History
Farhan etched his name in the history books and became only the fifth player in history to score four T20 centuries in a year. The Pakistan opener, who has played nine T20Is, has equalled the world record shared by Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill, Jos Buttler, and Chris Gayle. He is also the first Pakistan batter to achieve the feat, upstaging Babar's record. The Zalmi skipper made three tons each in 2019 and 2023.

Last month, Farhan also broke Gayle's record for the highest individual score in a knockout match in T20 cricket. Playing for Peshawar Region, the right-handed batter made 148 runs in 72 balls against Abbottabad Region in the semi-final. Gayle made an unbeaten 146 for Rangpur Riders against the Dhaka Dynamites in the 2017 Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) final in Mirpur.
