Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are locking horns in their fourth match of IPL 2025. The match is taking place at the Eden Gardens. KKR won the toss and opted to bowl first. The home team honoured Rinku Singh before the start of the fixture and presented him with a special jersey.

Rinku, who is playing his 50th IPL game for KKR, was honoured with a '50' number jersey by the three-time IPL Champions. KKR captain, Ajinkya Rahane presented Rinku with the jersey. "50 matches. Unmatchable impact," KKR captioned the post.

Rinku joined KKR for Rs 80 lakh in the IPL 2018 mega-auction. He played 4 matches in IPL 2018, 5 in 2019, 1 in 2020 and sat on the bench in IPL 2021. KKR re-signed Rinku in the IPL 2022 mega-auction for Rs 55 lakh.

The left-handed batsman played 7 matches in 2022 and 14 matches in 2023. Rinku's success in IPL 2023 saw him make his India debut few months later. KKR retained him before the IPL 2025 mega-auction for Rs 13 crore. He was part of Punjab Kings in IPL 2017 but didn't get to play a game.

Sunil Narine tops the list of players to play most IPL matches for KKR. Narine, who has been with KKR since 2012, is playing his 180th game for the franchise. KKR have always retained him before mega-auctions. Narine has been part of KKR's all three IPL title wins.

He is followed by Andre Russell, who is playing his 124th match. Russell has been with KKR since 2014. Gautam Gambhir played 108 matches for KKR and sits at the third spot. The former KKR captain led them to two IPL title wins - in 2012 and 2014. Gambhir was KKR's mentor when they won their third IPL title in 2024.
