Kolkata Knight Riders are all set to take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2025 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on April 3 (Thursday). This will be a huge match given that it is a repeat of the final of IPL 2024, where KKR comprehensively defeated SRH to win their third title. Both SRH and KKR are currently struggling at the bottom half of the table, winning one and losing two out of their first three games. Hence, both sides would aim to get a win to get some momentum back into their campaign.

The match between KKR and SRH is scheduled to be held from 7.30 PM IST. The toss will thus be held 30 minutes before the match begins. Hence, the toss for the match is scheduled to take place at 7 PM IST.

The pitch at Eden Gardens in the past few years has been a flat track that is friendly for batters. However, the wicket against SRH is expected to be dry with little to no water being sprinkled on the track for the past few days. This will favour the spinners, especially KKR's superstar duo of Sunil Narine and Varun Chakaravarthy. Hence, the team winning the toss might look to bat first, and put as many runs on the board because the surface would grip more once the day progresses.

They followed it up with a thumping win against Rajasthan Royals by 8 wickets. However, in their third match they were absoluteluy crushed by Mumbai Indians by 8 wickets.

Sunrisers Hyderabad started off their IPL 2025 campaign with a huge win against Rajasthan Royals. This was followed by two back to back losses against Lucknow Super Giants and Delhi Capitals.
