Sachin Tendulkar rolled back the year with a stunning knock in the 2025 International Masters League (IML) match between India and England Masters at Navi Mumbai's DY Patil Stadium on Tuesday (February 25) with a vintage display with the bat.
Walking out to open the innings with Gurkeerat Singh Mann, Sachin gave the Men in Blue a quick start with a stunning knock of 34 runs in just 21 balls. The 51-year-old's knock included five boundaries and one six and came at a strike-rate of 161.90.
Cricket fans were left nostalgic seeing Tendulkar bring out his best shots and expressed their adulation for the 'God of Cricket.' Even 12 years after his retirement, the Indian cricket legend managed to entertain cricket lovers with the bat.

Talking about the match, Tendulkar won the toss and chose to bowl first. The Eoin Morgan-led England side posted a total of just 132 on the board, with no player making more than 25 runs. Dhawal Kulkarni was the pick of the bowlers for the Indian team with a spell of 3-23, while Abhimanyu Mithun and Pawan Negi also took two wickets.
In reply, Tendulkar posted a 75-run opening partnership in just 7.1 overs. Gurkeerat remained unbeaten and made 63 runs in just 35 balls as the home side won the match by nine wickets with 56 balls to spare. Yuvraj Singh walked out to bat at number three and remained on the crease till the winning runs were scored. The 2011 World Cup Player of the Tournament made a knock of 27 in just 14 balls.
For those unversed, this is the first-ever season of the IML and is taking place across three cities with six teams taking part.
The Indian team, which Tendulkar is captaining, has started the tournament with two wins in a row after defeating Sri Lanka by four runs on Saturday (February 23).
