Team India have had a fantastic start to their campaign in the Champions Trophy winning their first two games of the tournament against Bangladesh and Pakistan respectively. New Zealand's win on Monday (February 24) against Bangladesh also ensured that India qualified for the semi-final of the tournament, with one match still to play. The Men in Blue have also been touted as one of the favourites to win the tournament. However, former England captain Nasser Hussain has taken a dig at the team for having an advantage over other teams.
Pakistan are hosting the Champions Trophy 2025. However, India refused to travel to the country owing to security reasons. After months of deliberation, it was finally announced that India would play all their matches in Dubai, while the rest of the games will take place in Pakistan.
Nasser Hussain, in an interaction with Michael Atherton on Sky Sports, said that India, the best team in the Champions Trophy 2025 have home advantage despite Pakistan being the host nation. They do not have to travel, play on one pitch throughout the tournament, and have picked a side for that pitch.
"It is an advantage. So, the best team in the tournament have that advantage. And I saw a tweet the other day saying 'Pakistan host nation, India home advantage.' It sums it up really. They are at one place, one hotel, they don't have to travel. They have one dressing room. They know the pitch, they have picked for that pitch," the ex-England skipper said.

India Have Huge Advantage: Pat Cummins

In an interaction with Yahoo Australia, Pat Cummins, who is missing out from the Champions Trophy 2025 due to injury, has said that playing all their games in Dubai gives India a huge advantage to win the tournament.
“I think it’s good in that the tournament can go on, but obviously it does give them (India) a huge advantage playing on the same ground. They already look very strong and they’ve got that obvious benefit of playing all their games there," Cummins said.
