India vs Pakistan is a game that always brings out the emotions in players, and that was evident once again on the field in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 at the Dubai International Stadium. Living up to its billing, the match also delivered a moment of intense rivalry and unexpected sportsmanship.

During Pakistan's innings, Mohammad Rizwan and Indian pace bowler Harshit Rana briefly raised tensions on the field when the duo barged shoulders.

The incident happened during the 21st over when Harshit Rana was bowling his second spell. Rizwan hit a pull shot towards deep square leg and started running. As both Rizwan and Rana ran past each other in the middle of the pitch, the Pakistan captain appeared to bump into the Indian bowler with his shoulder.

However, amidst the on-field friction, Virat Kohli's actions and his Pakistani fan's gesture stole the show and won hearts.

Kohli was spotted exchanging pleasantries with his rival, Babar Azam, and patting him on the back while chatting briefly before the start of the game.

Later in the match, he was also seen helping Pakistan pacer Naseem Shah by tying the latter's shoelaces.

What was also noticeable was how Kohli's fandom crossed borders when a Pakistani fan was spotted wearing his national jersey with Virat Kohli's name on the back.
