Virat Kohli returned to his best against Pakistan and slammed a brilliant half-century while chasing the target of 242. The right-handed batsman joined Shubman Gill after the fall of the early wicket of Rohit Sharma. Virat, who has broken plenty of records in his long career, equalled Sachin Tendulkar's elite milestone during the contest.
Virat now has the most 50+ scores in ICC ODI events. He shares the top spot with Sachin Tendulkar. Both India legends have 23 fifty+ scores. Virat is the quickest to do so. He has 23 fifty+ scores in 51 innings while Sachin did it in 58 innings. They are followed by Rohit Sharma, who has 18 fifty+ scores in 40 innings.
