Pakistan Cricket Team Promised Big Money In ICC Champions Trophy 2025 If They Beat India.

Pakistan are locked in a tense battle against arch-rivals India in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. But before the high-stakes encounter, the men in green were promised a massive bonus if they beat Rohit Sharma and his boys in the marquee event.
Sindh Governor Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori, currently in London, announced a substantial incentive for the national team. If they emerge victorious against India, Tessori will award the team 1 crore Pakistani rupees.
"I am in London, but my prayers and heart is with Pakistan as they take on India," Governor Tessori told ARY News.
Expressing his confidence in the team's ability to secure a win, he added, "If the Pakistani team wins, I am announcing a prize of 1 crore rupees for the team. The whole nation is praying. And God willing, with will achieve victory, we will definitely win."
The Governor's announcement shows the excitement and intense emotions surrounding this match. Interestingly, Pakistan leads India 3-2 in the Champions Trophy head-to-head.
Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif earlier said that beating India will be the real challenge. "We have a very good side, and they have done well recently. But the real task now is to not only win the Champions Trophy but also defeat our archrival, India, in the upcoming match in Dubai. The entire nation stands behind them," Sharif was quoted as saying by PTI.
Meanwhille, Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan won the toss and elected to bat against India in their marquee Champions Trophy match here on Sunday.
India, who won their opening match against Bangladesh, are unchanged.
For Pakistan, Imam-ul-Haq replaced Fakhar Zaman, who was injured and ruled out of the tournament.
