A defeat against New Zealand could knock them out of the tournament if Pakistan beat Bangladesh. Pakistan and New Zealand (if they beat India) with two wins will go through to the knockouts. If Bangladesh beat New Zealand and Pakistan, they could also go through, but that doesn't look like a great possibility given their form.

India, however, would back themselves to win against Pakistan and New Zealand given the superior quality in the squad.
