Virat Kohli created history and etched his name in record books during the Champions Trophy match between India and Pakistan in Dubai. Virat achieved a huge milestone when he completed his 15th run in the fixture. Virat broke Sachin Tendulkar's record to create history. The Master Blaster held the record for 19 years.

Virat Kohli created history and became the fastest batsman in the world to score 14000 ODI runs. The right-handed batsman achieved the milestone in just 287 innings. The record previously belonged to Sachin Tendulkar. The Master Blaster breached the 14000-mark in 350 innings in 2006. Virat has pipped him in the elite list after 19 years.

Virat has also become the third batsman to score 14000 runs. Kumar Sangakkara became the second batsman to join the elite list during the 2015 ODI World Cup. He retired from the 50-over format after the ICC event.
Virat, the quickest batsman to score 10000 ODI runs, will now aim to complete 15000 runs. Sachin is the only batsman to score more than 15000 ODI runs. He batted 377 times to achieve this mark.
