UFC 315 will bring championship action back to Canada for the first time in over a decade, with two title fights headlining the event at Bell Centre in Montreal on May 10.
Welterweight champion Belal Muhammad will defend his title against Jack Della Maddalena in the main event.
Muhammad (24-3 MMA, 15-3 UFC) returns after recovering from a severe toe infection that forced him to withdraw from a December bout against Shavkat Rakhmonov.
With Rakhmonov sidelined due to injury, Della Maddalena (17-2 MMA, 7-0 UFC) steps in for his first title shot, just three years after his UFC debut. The Australian contender has earned notable wins over Gilbert Burns and Kevin Holland.
In the co-main event, UFC women’s flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko (24-4-1 MMA, 13-3-1 UFC) will face France’s Manon Fiorot (12-1 MMA, 7-0 UFC) in a five-round battle.
Shevchenko, who reclaimed her belt from Alexa Grasso in September, looks to extend her dominance.
Fiorot, undefeated in the UFC, aims to become the promotion’s first French champion, with victories over Erin Blanchfield and Rose Namajunas highlighting her rise.
