Ravindra Jadeja joined MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli and a few other Indian cricketers in a huge list as he made his 200th ODI appearance for India in the league stage match of the 2025 Champions Trophy against Bangladesh. Jadeja, who has been part of the majority of ICC events since the 2013 Champions Trophy, has become the fifth player to achieve a huge record.

Jadeja is now among the cricketers to play 200 ODIs and as many IPL matches. The star all-rounder is the fifth-most capped player in IPL. He has played 240 IPL matches.

The elite list is topped by Dhoni. The former India captain finished his ODI career with 347 caps for the Men in Blue. He is India's second-most capped player in ODIs. Dhoni has played 264 IPL matches and is set to add to his caps in IPL 2025.

He is followed by Virat Kohli, who has played 298 ODIs. Virat has played 252 IPL matches since his debut for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in 2008. Virat is the only player to represent one franchise in every IPL season played so far. Rohit Sharma has played 269 ODIs and 257 IPL matches.

Ravindra Jade made quick progress after winning the 2008 U-19 World Cup and he made his ODI debut in February 2009. His T20I debut came just 2 days later. Jadeja played his first Test match against England in 2012.

He wasn't part of the 2011 World Cup-winning team. Jadeja played a key role in India's title win at the 2013 Champions Trophy. He was part of the Rohit Sharma-led side which won the 2024 T20 World Cup.

Jadeja retired from T20I cricket after the title win and now only plays Tests and ODIs. Jadeja has played 80 Tests, 200 ODIs and 74 T20Is. He will become the fifth player to play 250 IPL matches in the upcoming season.
