Rohit Sharma Makes MASSIVE Blunder, Denies Hat-Trick To Axar Patel
In his first over against Bangladesh, Axar Patel was on a hat-trick after taking the wickets of Tazind Hasan and Mushfique. He would have got his hat-trick as well as Jaker Ali edged the ball straight to slips. However, captain Rohit Sharma dropped a sitter of a catch, thus denying Axar the chance to become the first Indian to take a hat-trick in the Champions Trophy.
Rohit was visibly disappointed at dropping this important catch. He banged the ground in frustration, and then folded his hands to apologize to the left-arm spinner.
