ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is all set to begin from February 19 to March 9, and Pakistan will be playing the hosts along with the UAE. The eight-team tournament is not only making a return after eight years but also marks the first global cricket event in Pakistan after 29 years.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Mohsin Naqvi has assured that the ICC Champions Trophy will be hosted in a manner that will bring pride and joy to the people of Pakistan.
After all, it will finally end the long-awaited dream of cricket fans in Asian countries to host a major ICC event. As per Naqvi, top-level security and hospitality arrangements had been made for all participating teams.
Former President Asif Ali Zardari will be the chief guest at the opening match between Pakistan and New Zealand at the National Stadium in Karachi.
