Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi went home with prize money of $1 Million after winning the star-studded Pickleball Slam 3 at the Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday (February 16). The star couple defeated the team of Andy Roddick and Eugenie Bouchard in the highly-anticipated main event.
Graff and Agassi made a winning return to the tournament. While Graf made her pickleball debut in the second season of the Pickleball Slam, Agassi has been participating in the tournament since its inception.
Team Agassi dominated the first game and gained the upper hand with a 15-9 lead. Team Roddick bounced back strongly in the second game and registered a 15-10 win. The third game went to the tiebreaker. Mardy Fish joined Agassi's team for the tiebreaker while John Isner played for Team Roddick. Team Agassi won the tiebreaker to retain the title and win the $1 million prize money.
Earlier, Agassi defeated Roddick 2-0 in the singles match. The team of Graf and Fish defeated Bouchard and Isner 2-0 in the second game of the day.
