'Feels Like USA': U18 Boys' Doubles Champions Dev-Purvansh In Awe Of Bennet University Facilities | 4th IPA Pickleball Nationals
The 4th IPA Pickleball Nationals are currently taking place from January 23-26 at the Bennett University, Greater Noida. The first winners of Day 2 have been crowned, as the pair of Dev Shah and Purvansh Patel have sealed the title in the Boys' U-18 doubles category. In the final the pair from Gujarat defeated the Rajasthani duo of Vansh Ruhela and Harsh (11-5,8-11, 11-5). After winning the coveted title the duo were in awe of the facilities at Bennett University.
Feels Like We Are In USA
In an interaction with Sports Now, Purvansh Patel praised the courts and facilities of Bennett University and shared his happiness about winning the title. On the other hand, Dev Shah compared the windy conditions of the open nature of the pickleball courts of the Bennett University to that of the USA.
"The courts and the facilities are all excellent. It feels very good to win the under-18 doubles with my partner. And the courts are very good, so enjoyed here" Purvansh said.
"We have played in many places in the country but this is nice and windy. It's windy, so it's difficult to play, but we can manage. It feels like we are in USA because there are also windy conditions," Dev added.
