Did Ritika Sajdeh Attack Harsh Bhogle For Alleged 'Ban PR Agencies' Remark For Rohit Sharma: Fact Check (Instagram/BCCI)

The Board of Control For Cricket in India (BCCI) is mulling over modifications to their player guidelines. The development comes on the backdrop of India's crushing 3-1 defeat to Australia which also knocked them out of the World Test Championship (WTC) final. According to reports, the BCCI could introduce a performed-based variable pay structure which would mean that players who do not fare well could face deductions in their earnings.
Similarly, the BCCI might ban families and wives of cricketers from staying with the players for an entire overseas tour. Also, the players might be asked to travel only with the team bus, and not separately.
Reacting to the news, popular sports commentator and expert Harsha Bhogle expressed surprise at the rumours. He said the the recent developments are hard to believe, but if he has to introduce one rule for the players, he would probably ban the players from having a PR agency.
