The 2025 Women's Premier League (WPL) will take place from 14th February to 15th March and will be played across four cities for the first time in history. Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru will take on Gujarat Giants (GG) in the opening match of the tournament at the Kotambi Stadium in Baroda.
Baroda will host the first leg of the tournament in what will be the first instance of either the Men's Indian Premier League or the WPL taking place in the city. The newly built venue will host six matches before the tournament moves to Bengaluru, which will also host six matches.
Lucknow will host the third leg of the tournament, consisting of four matches, in what will be the first instance of the WPL being hosted by the Ekana Stadium. The final two matches of the league stage, alongside the eliminator and final, will take place at Mumbai's Brabourne Stadium situated at the Cricket Club of India (CCI). The summit clash is scheduled to take place on March 15.

The third season of the tournament continues the tournament's rapid expansion. The first season in 2023 solely took place in Mumbai and its suburbs, with matches at the CCI and the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. Last year, the tournament took place in two cities, with Bengaluru and Delhi hosting matches.
While four cities are hosting the 2025 season, the WPL will continue to be held in a caravan format, and the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) is yet to introduce the home and away format in the competition.
The first season of the league was won by Mumbai Indians (MI), while RCB lifted the title in 2024. Delhi Capitals (DC) lost the final in both instances.
Meanwhile, there are no matches on the days on which the Indian men's play will play their league stage matches in the 2025 Champions Trophy. Even the dates on the days of the two semi-finals and final will be rest days ensuring no clash between any match of the Men in Blue in the marquee event and any match of the richest women's cricket league in the world.
There are no double-headers in the 2025 WPL ensuring no afternoon games in the league. All 22 matches will start in evening timeslot of 7:30 PM IST.
